- Double-check that all cables are correctly plugged in.
- Test your Internet from the router using an ethernet cable.
- Restart your equipment
- Please allow 30 minutes after restarting for your equipment to synch and speeds return to normal
- If none of this works, get in touch.
Check your speed online. For accurate speed tests, plug a cable directly into your router and turn off any other Internet devices that are connected to your network.
If you work from home and have a VPN dial-up connection, disconnect this first as it will give a false reading.

We monitor your usage and contact you if you go over our fair usage policy. Normally this isn’t a problem however if a customer continually exceeds 500Gb per month we investigate further.
Resetting the router
Your router has the details it needs to connect you to our network, if you accidentally reset your router and need to re-enter these details, please contact the office on 01269 500055.
Setting up an account
Please contact the office or email email@example.com to request an email address, [anything]@resqnet.co.uk. Provided the address is available, we will set this up on our servers.
If you are using an @resqnet.co.uk email address, you will need to use the following settings to receive your email:
- Incoming server: mail.resqnet.co.uk
- Username: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Password: your password
